Three Pagodas (San Ta)

Iconic Buddhist temples built during the Tang Dynasty (9th century). The three pagodas stand in a triangular formation โ€” the main pagoda is 69 meters tall. Surrounded by a peaceful temple complex with ancient cypress trees. The backdrop is often photographed with Cangshan Mountains.

Erhai Lake Cycling

Yunnan's second-largest highland lake (268 sq km). A 120km scenic road circles the lake with breathtaking views of Cangshan Mountains. Best done by electric bike (ยฅ60-80/day) or regular bicycle. Stop at Fisherman's Wharf, Shuangqiao Old Town, and small fishing villages along the way.

Xizhou Old Town

Well-preserved Bai village 30km north of Dali. Famous for its traditional courtyard homes, the largest of which is the Zhou's Family Mansion (ๅ‘จๅฎถๅคง้™ข). Try "Bai three-course meal" (็™ฝๆ—ไธ‰้“่œ) and learn about Bai tea ceremonies. Much less touristy than Dali Old Town.

Cangshan Mountain (Zhonghe Temple)
